i'm so glad you're here!
Hey! I’m Payton, welcome to Postscript Hair Studio! I’m a salon suite owner proudly serving the Spring area right down the street from where I was raised! As a Tomball native, I’m happy to be right in my backdoor and conveniently located to all the nearby areas.

As a busy mom, I know how hectic life can be and the hesitation that comes with taking care of yourself. I designed my whole studio suite experience to be one that leaves you feeling pampered and refreshed, like a little escape, before going back to your busy life taking care of your family and wearing the many hats I know so many of us juggle.

I became licensed in 2018 but my love of hair began way before that. After teaching myself how to french braid watching Youtube videos in 5th grade, I was ready to spend the rest of my life doing hair. Throughout the years, I have grown a passion helping women feel confident with their gray hair. For some this means covering it and for others this means blending it in. Whichever it is for you, I’m ready to help you feel your best. Thanks to technology, I’m enrolled in multiple education classes that run year round to keep me on A game when it comes to color and cutting skills
While many stylists do great hair, I’m constantly striving to provide a salon experience like you’ve never had. I pride myself on deeply listening to you and getting you to the hair of your dreams, all while maintaining the health and integrity of your hair. I love hearing about your lifestyle and day to day routine to give you the style that is going to work best and be easy for you to maintain.

Outside the salon, I’m real good at keeping myself busy. My husband and I have a feral 1 year old baby girl who keeps us on our toes and who takes up a lot of my time. She thankfully is awesome at tagging along with us to go to Young Life or hang out with our friends! I’m a big Survivor fan and definitely believe I would win if I could handle a month away from my family. Every night after the chores are done, I’m always getting comfy to read a book! On average, I finish 1 or 2 books a week and always have a ‘to be read’ list going.

If we sound like a great match and you’re ready to treat yourself to some awesome hair, check out my services below and request your first appointment!
Book recommendations
Suspense:
Pretty Girls by Karen Slaughter- obsessed! This book was quite disturbing at times but I was hooked. A woman's husband is murdered and what she uncovers after is hard to believe.
First Lie Wins by Ashley Elston. I thought this was so good and kept me on my toes the entire time! Evie Porter has another job to find out information for her mysterious boss but here's the thing- Evie Porter doesn't even exist

Fantasy:
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros- the only fantasy series I like! So much action, a love story and suspense all in one! Violent finds herself in the Riders Quadrant after dreaming her whole life to be a scribe and starts to wonder who she can really trust in the war college.

Romance: (the more unrealistic the better for me)
The Friend Zone Series by Abby Jimenez- Books 1 and 2 are about two best friends finding love after some unfortunate (and very sad) breakups. Abby Jimenez is the queen on unrealistic endings in my opinion- these did not disappoint!
The Windy City Series by Liz Tomforde- I love this series and how the characters continue through all of the books. I think these are very cheesy and kind of predictable but you better believe I will read every single one in the series!
